Birthday parties are always a special event, especially when it comes to kids. The day will be all about good friends, food, and fun games. But it is not always easy finding a perfect birthday party idea or indoor birthday party games kids will love. Take me, for example; even a few days ago, I was stressing myself out by searching up birthday places in Bangalore. Fortunately, I found my solution after checking out some articles.

Now, it’s true that Kids are easily entertained, but that doesn’t mean the games at their birthday party should be uninspired. Here are eight indoor birthday party games that will have them laughing, cheering, and, most importantly, having a great time.  

1. Bingo

Indoor birthday party, or bingo game you’re looking for a unique and fun indoor activity for your child’s next birthday party, consider playing bingo. Bingo is a classic game that can be easily bested for young players. Print out a few bingo cards to get started and designate one player as the caller. Then, have the other players draw objects from a bag or hat. 

As each object is removed, the caller should announce it to the group and mark it off on their card. The first player to complete a good pattern (e.g., five in a row) wins the game. In addition to being lots of fun, bingo is also an excellent way to help kids develop memory and matching skills.  

2. Treasure Hunt

A birthday party is more fun when you add some games, and what could be more exciting for kids than a treasure hunt for a birthday party? For this birthday party, you will need to hide some tiny treasures around the birthday venue before the start of the party. Prepare some clues that will lead the kids to the prizes. You can hide the clues in different places or make them part of the decoration. 

The birthday kid can be the one who hands out the clues to their guests. To make it more challenging, you can set a time limit for finding all the treasures. The kid who finds the most treasures within the time limit wins a prize. This birthday party game is sure to be a hit with all the kids.  

3. Three-Legged Race

A birthday party wouldn’t be complete without some fun games! One classic birthday party game is the three-legged race. In this race, two players are attached at the ankle with a band or scarf and have to work together to make it to the finish line. This game is perfect for birthday parties because it’s a lot of fun and promotes teamwork. 

It’s also great to get kids moving and burn off some energy. To make the game even more birthday-themed, you can set up an obstacle course for the teams to navigate or even add a birthday cake at the finish line!  

4. Musical Chairs

A kid’s birthday party will never be complete without a game of musical chairs. This classic birthday party game is a great way to get kids up and moving, and it’s also a lot of fun. To play, you will need one chair for each child, plus one extra chair. Place the chairs in a circle, with the extra chair in the middle. Then, start the music and have the kids walk around the circle of chairs. 

When the music stops, all of them must sit on a chair. The kid who will be left without a chair is out, and one chair is removed from the circle. The game will continue until only one child is left sitting in a chair. At that point, that child is the winner. Musical chairs are a great birthday party game for kids of all ages, and it’s sure to be a hit at your next birthday party.  

5. Karaoke

A karaoke birthday party is a great way to celebrate your child’s birthday. Not only is karaoke a lot of fun, but it’s also a great way to get everyone involved in the birthday celebration. Guests can sing with the birthday child and have a blast watching their friends and loved ones perform. 6. Scrabble

Scrabble is an enjoyable way of having a lovely time on a birthday. The kids are occupied with the games and can also learn many vocabulary words for the scrabble.  

7. Musical charades

Another fun indoor game is musical charades. Set up two groups, and then one person from one group comes. The second group gives them a song name which they have to enact to their group. The children can learn teamwork and have a lot of fun with this game. 

8. Relay race

relay races are always a hit with kids of all ages. Divide the guests into teams and line them up at the starting point. Then give each group a list of tasks before crossing the finish line. For example, one team might have to crawl through an obstacle course, while another might have to sing a song. The first team to complete all their tasks wins the race.
